About ChristChurch

ChristChurch began in 1995 and has always had a base location in Wrexham. We have been worshiping at Acton Community Centre since 2001 and aim to remain there for the foreseeable future.

We have a threefold vision of Bodybuilding, Outreach & Mission which is encapsulated in the Strategy Paper. ChristChurch has adopted the Evangelical Alliances’ statement of faith.

The church has a Leadership Team and Team Leader (see picture below) who have Spiritual oversight, there are also Trustees who look after the legal aspects of the church. In Feb 2008 a Wider Leadership Team was created, and they are the Leaders for the different aspects of ministries in the church. See the Newsletter at the bottom of the page for more information

ChristChurch has a Constitution which outlines the church’s purpose and a Code of Practise which has the day to day practice/protocol. The Leadership team meets twice a month to pray and discuss church business. Three times a year the Wider Leadership Team joins the meetings to discuss issues and strategy.
Also three times a year there are congregational meetings, where the Leaders report to the church on their discussions and make any new proposals. The whole church is invited to these meeting where corporate decisions are voted on by the members.

The Safety and Protection of Children

ChristChurch Wrexham regards child protection and good working practice as a priority. In the interests of the safety and well being of all children and young people, it has developed and operates a formal child protection policy, which is registered with the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.

The church is committed to ensuring that all our leaders and workers with children or young people:

              ● have undergone a Criminal Records Bureau check at enhanced level;
              ● are adequately trained, and where appropriate, supervised;
              ● understand and follow the church’s child protection policy.

The child protection policy may be viewed and/or a copy borrowed from the church.

ChristChurch is a registerd charity, members of the Evangelical Alliance, Wrexham Cytûn and Mission Wrexham. It is also linked to Ichthus Christian Fellowship.
