Feeding the Roofless

Every Saturday and Sunday a team from one of the Churches involved provides sandwiches, drinks, soup, biscuits, crisps, and a piece of fruit, usually a banana.

The ChristChurch Team is on duty every second weekend in the month.

Feeding the Roofless involves shopping for food, preparing and packing sandwiches.

We have an allotted venue in the centre of a shopping precinct, in Wrexham, where we feed the homeless.

You may well ask the question, “Why do we feed the Homeless?” Doesn’t it only make the problem worse?  Yet, on the otherhand, we hear the words of our Lord Jesus saying, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.”  On this count alone, should we not offer the homeless them food and drink?

This gives us the opportunity at times, to enter into meaningful conversations with some of the homeless, to point them to the One who is able to give them new hope and a new life!
